2018 Corpus Christi Heart Ball

2018 Corpus Christi Heart Ball

Saturday, February 17, 2018

On Saturday, February 17, 2018, the American Heart Association will hold the “Heart of New Orleans” Heart Ball, honoring local luminaries Janie & Wes Hoskins and Patti & J. Mark Morales, M.D. for their heartfelt contributions to the Coastal Bend community. The featured heart survivor of the evening is Hugo Berlanga, who will share his personal experience overcoming heart disease. The Heart Ball raises funds to reduce death and disability from heart disease and stroke, our #1 killer and the leading cause of long-term disability.

Each year, this themed affair celebrates the culture, arts, and philanthropic spirit of the Coastal Bend community. Please join us as we celebrate our local volunteers, supporters, and the many successes we’ve achieved together in fighting heart disease and stroke. The evening at the Solomon P. Ortiz Center will transform into a lively and charming New Orleans night where the attendees will enjoy scenes from the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. It’ll be an evening to remember with sounds of classic New Orleans jazz, delectable food, cocktails, and a live and silent auction.
